Additionally, we are engaged in various businesses that support our core operations, such as the production of tapioca flour (T-Fiber Innovation Co., Ltd.) and modified starch (Sanguan Wongse Starch Co., Ltd.), which are exported to the global market. We also engaged in the generation and distribution of electricity and gas (Sanguan Wongse Energy Co., Ltd., Korat BioEnergy Co., Ltd., and Korat Energy Plus Co., Ltd.), as well as educational institutions from kindergarten to secondary level (Plookpanya School).
In 1974, Sanguan Wongse Industry Co., Ltd. (SWI) was established in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand.
Primarily producing tapioca starch and being located in Nakhon Ratchasima province, we are centered in the highest tapioca cultivation field in the country. With a consistent supply of raw materials to the factory throughout the year, we purchase up to 5,000 tons of fresh cassava from farmers daily. With ethical governance, our company has invested in essential resources such as organizational development, research and machinery, which results in consistent and continuous growth to the present day.
To expand our organization, Sanguan Wongse Starch Co., Ltd. (SWS) was established in 1989, to manufacture and commercialize modified tapioca starch for various types of applications in both food and industrial sectors.
With a sufficient production capacity, we are currently holding the largest market share in Asia with a production capacity of 1,500 metric tons per day to meet the market demand. As we continuously develop to meet the diverse needs of the global market, we are consistently supplying the products to customers both domestically and internationally throughout the year whilst adding value to Thailand’s tapioca industry.
